Hi supporter,

Today is day 20 of Richard’s hunger strike.

Over the last 20 days Richard’s small camp in front of the Foreign Office has grown as supporters have brought candles, warm clothes, flags, and painted pebbles to show solidarity with his campaign.

Richard’s hunger strike, and the continued pressure on the UK Government from people like you, has kept Nazanin’s case in the spotlight. This week, dozens of MPs have visited Richard, and he was invited to meet with a Foreign Office Minister following a Government meeting with Iranian representatives.

But Richard says that ultimately, the UK Government is still refusing the change its strategy to bring Nazanin home. This morning, in an interview with journalist Victoria Derbyshire, Richard spoke about his fears that Nazanin will go back to prison in the new year if the UK Government does not act now.

So Richard is planning to continue his hunger strike, despite the risk to his health increasing everyday.

All your support so far has meant the world to Richard. Please keep writing to your MPs, keep tweeting encouragement for the campaign, and keep sharing the petition. The Government needs to understand how many people care about bringing Nazanin home.

Thank you for your continued support and action on behalf of Richard, Nazanin, and their loved ones.
