Richard ended his hunger strike on Saturday, after 21 days. Throughout that time he lost 12kgs. In Richard’s own words he is doing “generally okay” and has been in and out of hospital for doctors to check he’s recovering well.

Richard is determined to keep the Government under pressure, and you can help. Tomorrow, Richard and Nazanin’s MP, Tulip Siddiq, has secured a debate in Parliament. It’s an important opportunity to push for real progress to bring Nazanin home.

Richard needs you to write to your MP today, asking them to attend tomorrow’s debate. Richard believes that the more MPs that attend, especially Government MPs, the more the Government will know that this is not a party political issue and that all MPs want to help bring Nazanin home.

Here are some things you might want to include:

• You’re one of 3.7 million people who have joined the change.org/FreeNazanin campaign;
• You’re asking them, as your MP, to attend the debate for Nazanin tomorrow, and ask the Minister to reunite Nazanin with her husband, Richard, and daughter, Gabriella;
• You want the Foreign Secretary and the Prime Minister to do everything they can to bring Nazanin home before Christmas.

Today Richard is in hospital, feeling the effects of three weeks without food, and Nazanin remains in Iran, separated from her husband and daughter. Please ask your MP to speak in tomorrow's debate to tell the Government that Nazanin needs to come home.
