Stop mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations at Hartpury College

The Issue

We require your help as our 17yr old daughter and many other students are currently being forced to take the Covid 19 vaccine by Hartpury College in Gloustershire to continue her/their courses as the college/university have now made it mandatory for all students living onsite to be vaccinated.

Regardless of my attempts to obtain information from the college/university to better understand how the decision to make the vaccinations for all students living on campus mandatory is the correct course of action, Hartpury College/University has failed to explain or provide any supporting information justifying this decision, though the Department of Education clearly states it ENCOURAGES colleges to promote the take up the roll-out of vaccinations, it does not state it is mandatory...

And while we understand and fully appreciate that this pandemic has affected many people across the globe, we have struggled to understand and come to terms with the fact that a university/college such as Hartpury feel that this discriminative course of action and possible breach of the Equality Act 2010 is the correct course of action given that students not living onsite are excluded from this mandatory decision and are fine to continue and attend the college/university, though sadly this is not the case for my daughter or other students who have no choice but to stay on campus to complete their courses either due to distance from college/university or due to any course accommodation requirements.

We are not from a well off family and do our best to help finance our daughter's dream as, since the age of 2yr old, our daughter knew all she ever wanted to do was to work with horses, her dream came true when she got accepted into Hartpury and now she feels they are taking her dream away which is causing her mental state to deteriorate further.

We would greatly appreciate your support.
