In the last week, the campaign to save our homes in the West Hendon Estate has gained a lot of momentum. We’re now at over 74,000 signers and our campaign has been featured in the Guardian, as an expose of what is happening in Barnet. Barnet Council has still failed to assure us that we, and our fellow tenants at West Hendon Estate, will have a home in the area or a secure tenancy once the development plans are done. NOW IS THE TIME FOR ACTION: We want you to join us in a rally TOMORROW at 2pm starting in Marsh Drive Community Centre. Tomorrow is a crucial day as the council is holding a public inquiry into the estate. We will begin the afternoon by hearing from the amazing Focus E15 group and New Era Estate mums before marching in protest to the public inquiry at Hendon Town Hall.
