Save Field End Junior School Cycle Track

Save Field End Junior School Cycle Track
The Issue
In 2010 TFL invested 80,000 into building a cycle track at Field End Junior School in Eastcote, Hillingdon. The 340 metres long and four metres wide circular track provides not only the pupils of Field End School but also the local community with a superb and unique facility to improve safety and awareness on bikes, as well as a introduction to the exciting arena of competitive cycling.
British Cycling Coaches volunteer their time, knowledge and effort into providing pupils of the school and members of the local community with after school clubs, a ladies cycling club, interschool's days and Field End Flyers Community Cycle Club.
It has been decided that as from the end of this educational term, the cycle track and its clubs will cease to exist and the grounds that it is situated upon will be developed on.
We are asking that this doesn't go ahead! Don't deprive our children and local community of this unique and highly sort after opportunity to exercise, have fun and gain new/improve on skills in cycling.
