The new government has now been sworn in. Unfortunately, it's a Tory one and they have been decidedly dismissive of the requests of this petition. They believe that the law is adequate enough, if it was then there would be no need for this petition as protests would not be taking place. I am currently thinking about how to move this petition up a gear and would welcome any suggestions.
