On February 7th, Unions city commission voted against a proposed LGBTQ rights ordinance. The resolution states: 

" The proposed ordinance introduces two, new protected classifications, sexual orientation, and gender identity. In creating these two, new protected classifications, the ordinance seeks to mandate the acceptance of radical ideology that is anti-life, immoral, and completely ignores the scientific and biological reality."

Listen. These people believe that there are only two genders, that being Gay is not the right way, not the way god made us, the 'scientific' way. You know, people say god is great, and I believe he is. But people also say he says being gay is a sin. If he is so great and mighty he would accept the LGBTQ people the way they are. If you think about it, being Homophobic is just like being Racist. You are hating and judging people based on their sexualities. It doesn't matter to the homophobes if this person was their best friend, or if they are a complete stranger. 

My goal is to somehow manage to gain LGBTQ+ rights to my county and I hope you all follow along with me. If you have suggestions feel free to comment.
