Kansas stepped up and backed boeing in the KC-135 contract and now Boeing wants to close the plant in Wichita, KS with no serious and open attempt at analyzing how to stay. Kansans have shown that we are capable of cooperation when it comes to keeping a business and community alive. If we allow Boeing to make unilateral decisions when our State and the City of Wichita have put the public's money and voice on the table to help Boeing succeed (like the KC-135 Contract, Tax breaks, etc.) then Boeing should reciprocate and include Kansas and Wichita in attempts at finding a way to keep the plant open and more American's employed. Please sign this position to motivate our Legislators, Federal/State Representatives and Residents to unify their voices on behalf of Kansas families and Boeing. Let's give them a chance at avoiding costly moves, unemployment, and potential financial ruin.
