Saxe Middle School Public Hearing and Tour

Saxe Middle School Public Hearing and Tour
The Issue
We, the undersigned, Taxpayers of New Canaan, strongly request a public hearing in front of the Board of Finance before your meeting on November 10th, when you will be voting on the proposed Saxe Expansion project. All we ask is the standard duration for commentary, with 2 minutes per speaker. The Town Council allowed for this on 10/21.
We also ask the members of the Board of Finance to take a tour of Saxe Middle School during peak school hours so that they can see, first hand, the space issues. This way, the BoF can make the most informed decision when voting.
We know you have taken the time to read our letters, and we thank you for that. But now it is time to meet in person the concerned citizens of New Canaan and hear their comments and opinions. It is time to see this problem up close and tour the school. This vote is too important to the future of our school system, and thus our entire community. Thank you.
