A person diagnosed with Gender Dysphoria (ICD-10 Diagnosis Code F64.9), is a Transgender person. Part of the treatment in young people with gender dysphoria involves allowing the individual live in the gender role appropriate to their true psychological gender.

The first process to transitioning is receiving medical care. It is imperative to the health and well-being of people with this complex medical condition that they be allowed to live life fully in the appropriate gender role. Please extend them the same rights you would for any other patient suffering a medical condition, as transitioning early on, instead of waiting to be 18 and older is crucial to avoid sex-segregation and cause irreparable psychological damage. Transitioning at an early age allows minors to live a life as their preferred gender.

Please cover medical procedures and pharmaceutical's that involve Transgender minors in becoming their true self's. Waiting until a Transgender person is fully developed only exacerbates the Gender Dysphoria.

So many of our youth our suffering deeply as they either hide their breasts under painful binders, or grow facial hair and have a deepened voice because of insurance companies declining coverage on hormones and needed surgeries.
