We are here to demand that the Bloomington-Normal Police Department and Peru Police Department, request assistance from the FBI for their investigation into Jelani Days' disappearance. 

Jelani Day was last seen on surveillance camera footage in Bloomington IL on August, 24th 2021, where he was attending grad school. 

His car was located in a wooded area on August 26th, 2021 in Peru IL. 

There has been little to no additional discoveries in the search for Jelani since they located his car on Aug, 26th. The local police department has stated the disappearance seems to be under suspicious circumstances and Jelanis' college professor and family have stated this is not in his character to disappear. Yet there does not seem to be enough resources or personnel on either police department to fully investigate what lead to his disappearance and more importantly, to find him.

As Jelanis' community, we are DEMANDING additional resources and effort be brought in to find Jelani!!! The FBI must be requested immediately! Far too much time has gone by without a diligent search and investigation. We must bring him home!
