We have been exchanging emails with the owner of 15A and are moving towards a mutual agreement. It has meant that two olive trees have been relocated and a lime tree will also be moved, all with the help of our lovely community. Unfortunately, a paw paw tree will be cut down once the fruit has ripened, but the owner will no longer insist that the bulk of the garden be removed. Questions: Have we made too many compromises? Why haven't we received more support from Council, especially since the community verge garden has won Council awards? We and the neighbourhood will follow up on these questions at a later stage.
