After numerous attempts to mediate with the owners of 15A Horton Street, they still won't respond and have demanded that council remove the substantial part of the verge garden. Council officers are in a bind as they must act. We have spoken to our local councillors who fully support this much loved community garden. They are now preparing to take the matter to a full meeting of council. At the council meeting, we will of course speak in support of the garden, but if as many of you as possible could attend that meeting it would show the overwhelming strength of community support. I'll let you all know the date of this council meeting as soon as I can. Council meetings are held on Tuesdays at 6.30 pm. Thank you all again for supporting the garden.
