This is a petition created to call for the arrest of the initial medical examiner involved in the George Floyd case. On May 25th, 2020 George Floyd was murdered by Derek Chauvin in Minneapolis, Minnesota. George Floyd begged Derek Chauvin to remove his knee from his neck because he couldn’t breath while countless onlookers watched and begged him to remove it. Derek Chauvin kept his knee pinned into Floyd’s neck for a total of 9 minutes until the life left his body. The initial medical examiner assigned to the case lied about the cause of death, saying that Floyd died from previous health issues in an attempt to protect Minneapolis Police office Derek Chauvin. The family in turn, hired a private medical examiner which he determined the cause of Floyd’s death to be of Asphyxiation by sustained pressure. This is unacceptable and we will no longer stand for this. It is wrong to blatantly lie about someone’s cause of death in an attempt to cover up a MURDER. This is a CRIME and we will not rest until this man is prosecuted. Please help us on our mission to get justice for George Floyd and his family. This case is very heartbreaking and we are determined to get justice. We will not be silenced, ENOUGH is ENOUGH.
