On Friday 13th August 2021 around 20:30 my stepson Luke Bright, died in an unfortunate motorbike accident.

It was partially due to the fact that the road he was on is not speed governed in any way, so I want Birkenhead Council to put in speed bumps, CCTV and speed cameras along Ferry Road, Wirral and Birkenhead. Luke was not the only fatality on this road, there have been many more before. The residents hear countless vehicles speeding up this road and are probably sick of the noise also.

I need your support, please help me make this road safe and save lives. You can't imagine what my family are going through right now. Sign this petition and tell everyone else you know to sign it. This has to be done right now before any other lives are lost.

There is a pub along this road called The Tap and it is notorious for being known as a bikers pub. I have no problem with people meeting with others that share their interests, but they tear down Ferry Road like it's some sort of race track and set stupid challenges for each other like wheelies and who can go the fastest before they reach a give way sign. I don't blame them for being adrenaline junkies but this needs to be stopped before it's too late.
