They are carnivorous animals that usually eat white tailed deer and wild hogs but still eat small mammals like raccoons,armidilos,and rabbits. There main predators are American Alligators and humans. There main threats by humans are poachers,human encroachment, over hunting, habitat loss, fragmentation, and degradation. How can you help them? Buy "protect a panther" tags for vehicles, make petitions, share petitions, sign them. Donate/raise money. Buy an awareness bracelet. Use recyclable/biodegradable/reusable containers,cups,silverware,grocery bags,straws,and water bottles rather then non biodegradable/reusable/recyclable ones. Right now, the Florida panthers are in more need of your help then ever. So come on.
