The RPA Commission Hearing of Councilman, Chip Henderson’s, proposed C-2 Zoning Conditions for the Quarry Golf Course clubhouse originally scheduled for July 9 has been deferred for an additional 30 days. The next regularly scheduled meeting to which this topic will be deferred is August 13 at 1 PM. Chip Henderson and the City Council believe that there is a potential that the residents and Pratt could reach a compromise position that satisfies both parties with regard to an acceptable development of the Quarry. In the next week, Chip will appoint a panel of seven residents who will sit down with Pratt in a (open to the residents) forum to exchange ideas. Chip will moderate these discussions. Chip’s intent is to facilitate an agreement before the next (August 13) RPA Meeting. More to follow on this. As you can see, our petition continues to gain momentum.
