This regular expense is both impractical and costly for officials who dedicate themselves to the advancement of youth sports.

The solution is straightforward: introduce new referee uniforms that use modern, technical fabrics ensuring breathability, flexibility, and durability. These shirts should include stable, functional pockets and be crafted with high-quality materials that eliminate the need for frequent replacements. This would not only enhance the professional image of the IHSAA officials but also empower them to perform their responsibilities with greater ease and efficiency.
