Better MENA - USD regional pricing for Battlefield 6 on Steam

The Issue

As a passionate Battlefield gamer in the Middle East, I am deeply concerned about the pricing structure for Battlefield 6. The current price of $70 is simply unaffordable for most gamers in the region. Many of us are die-hard fans of the Battlefield franchise, eagerly waiting to dive into Battlefield 6. However, the steep price tag in the MENA region is pushing a lot to break the terms of service (TOS) by purchasing the game through other regions where the pricing is more reasonable.

EA Games already offers great regional pricing for several of their titles, making them accessible to gamers worldwide. Unfortunately, this is not yet the case for Battlefield 6, leaving us, devoted fans, with limited options to enjoy Battlefield 6 within the boundaries of the game's rules.

Asking for regional pricing on Steam is a fair request. It would not only allow gamers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA - USD) region to access the game affordably but also ensure adherence to the terms and conditions set by EA. It would prevent the need to bypass the system and purchase from other regions, adhering to ethical purchasing practices.

According to data from the World Bank, many countries in the MENA region have a GDP per capita that is significantly lower than in North America and Western Europe. This economic disparity is why regional pricing is crucial to making games accessible to everyone, ensuring that gaming remains an inclusive experience for all.

We urge EA to reconsider their current pricing model for Battlefield 6 and to introduce a regional pricing strategy that mirrors the economic realities of the MENA region matching other regions that got a fair price. Together, let's make  Battlefield 6 accessible for all and keep the Battlefield community in region  thriving and intact.

Sign this petition to call on EA to implement fair regional pricing for Battlefield 6 in the MENA region on Steam.
