Hello, my name is Addisyn and I am currently a freshman here at UW Milwaukee. As we all know, college can be insanely expensive. In my opinion, when I am paying nearly 20,000 a year, I expect goods in return. Here at UWM, the dining plan can cost anywhere from $3000-$4000. That is a lot of money. Considering the amount of money it cost, I believe we deserve to have better food. I’ve only been at Milwaukee for two weeks now and my friends and I have already been violently sick from the food. It’s more than just my friends I’ve heard have had issues like this. Most days I don’t even go to the cafeteria because I already know I’m gonna be disappointed when I see what they are serving. The food taste like something our jails would serve to prisoners. This is not okay. There needs to be a change within our dining system. There’s multiple different groups on Facebook that have many individuals that are also complaining about this issue. If you are someone who agrees with this, please sign this petition and let’s see if we can get UW Milwaukee to serve us better food!
