Disabilty Friendly Playground

Disabilty Friendly Playground
The issue
We would like a playground that everyone in the family can utilise properly including those in wheelchairs or have mobility issues etc so far every playground only has a couple of things that people with mobility issues are able to utilise and every family is always having to explain that the child can't use things like flying foxes or climbing frames or slippery dips etc so far their is only 1 disability friendly playground in the whole of South Australia and I'm asking for everyone's support in making it a possibility here in the Riverland South Australia thank you everyone in advance I have sent an email to the council and asked a property owner for their support as I believe they have the best location so now I just need to get signatures of support that I can take into the council and our member for parliament so that this dream might be able to happen so that families don't have to keep saying to the children that they cant use the play equipment like all the other children can I'm hoping that the local council and member for parliament will give the approval and I intend on taking this as far as I need to to make this happen as a mother of a child in a wheelchair it is heartbreaking not being able to take my wheelchair child to the playground and I'm certain that their is heaps of families out there who agree with that so I'm hoping to be able to get a place that all the family can enjoy even if they do have mobility issues
