Hello Community Members and Parents,
Several months ago, we began an effort to stop the rushed and misinformed reconfiguration of our schools. While we were unsuccessful in this effort, the BOE was forced to change meeting practices to be more transparent and had to delay moving forward with construction as a result of our concerns to the DOE regarding educational adequacy.
Test scores continue to decline and the BOE continues to double down on its practices - ending zoom meeting just before renewing Dr. Varley's contract during the weeks leading up to the election.
Sai and Tom have been at the forefront of calling these concerns to the community's attention and spent hours upon hours every week advancing our interests.
