Community- the Superintendent is trying to already reject just 1 community member’s feedback. 

We cannot let them!

At the BOE meeting Thursday 1 gentleman suggestion Scenario 3 should be added to the vote.  WE ALL NEED TO DEMAND THIS.

Scenario 3 offers Full Day Kindergarten with the least amount of impact to the community and keeps majority of kids in their elementary schools.

The superintendent’s email that came out on Friday with less than 24 hrs after the meeting already trying to dispel Scenario 3 with a very mixed message.

She commented that there was a staff cost of an exorbitant number, yet her presentation did not provide any numbers like this for any other scenarios. Additionally, in her email she again tries to make a case for the developmentally appropriate need while stating Scenario 3 does not accomplish this.  Let the facts be known in this very same email she also congratulates (which we all should) the recent college admissions from our district…sure does seem by the list she is touting that our education here in this town is developmentally appropriate and working great!!

Her desire to make this change seems off.

This weekend is critical-

Day 2 and Day 3 out of 20 days until the vote

Don’t get discouraged, it’s time to really speak up.

Take 15 minutes out of your day this Sat or Sun and write to all Board members.  This needs to happen with high volume prior to the first town hall on Wednesday.

It should be noted board member Mr. Cianciulli was receptive in the meeting to the public’s concerns as was board member Mrs. Young… Please be sure to write to these individuals along with all other board members.

The Board has devised a plan to REDISTRICT our children. We need them to know we are against any plan that does this.

We need more SIGNS into yards- need exposure!!!  Are you willing to put a sign, know someone who is?  

Especially looking for individuals on Park Ave, Plainfield, Snyder, Mountain. Please let us know.

We have about 30 left and want to get them out ASAP.
