Dear Community member and Parents:

Thank you for your support of this petition.

As many may be aware, we did receive some information on Monday morning from Dr. Varley with a few more details.  We believe we received this communication because of your support and signing this petition your voice is being heard.

Unfortunately, of the 4 options presented, they do not mention the impact of each decision. Option 4 is the known plan which results in re-districting which they have already been planning for. 

We need more signatures. Please ask yourself, did your spouse sign?  If not, please ask them to do so.  Spread the word, speak with people you know, ask them directly to sign and support.

Now it is time to act.

Can we count on you for support?

We are looking for the following:

->Are you willing to put a yard sign on your property for neighbors to see?
->Handing out flyers in neighborhoods (mailbox stuffing) or at schools during AM and PM pick up off school property near the entrances and exits?
->Committing to responding to posts on FB forums…help is needed here in a big way to quell the misinformation?
->Writing letters to the board to express your feelings of not wanting our children to have to attend new schools as a direct result of their plan.

Again, your support matters for children in the community, this petition has never been about not having FDK, but the timing, and lack of community involvement is concerning. We want the initiative to be paused, evaluated not in a year with a pandemic.

We are stronger together and we appreciate your support.
