This petition is for the support of a letter to Fingal County Council in providing pedestrian access at the South East corner of Beresford Square/Beresford Drive leading into Beverton Rise.

This access route will reduce car use for Beresford residents and provide better access links to schools, community facilities, sports clubs and other local amenities.

The current pedestrian access point at Beverton Heights does not provide easy access to local amenities for many residents of the estate.

The proposal of this route is in line with Fingal County Council's Active Travel" plan, "Donabate Local Area Plan 2016", "Donabate Development Plan Objectives: Fingal Development Plan 2017-2023" and "National Transport Authority: Permeability Best Practice Guide".
