Belleview High school has a dress-code that doesn’t allow tank tops, shirts that show midriff, crop tops, durags, shorts that aren’t mid thigh, and hats (even outside). The gym coaches are even enforcing this dress code. Florida can warm up well above 80-90 and being told you’re not allowed to wear tank tops and to put your jacket back on so you’re not “distracting” is so wrong. 

A girl walked out of the locker room and the first thing one of the male coaches told her to do was “cover up”.. she was wearing sweatpants and a tank top. The female coach told a girl to “cover up” while she was in the locker rooms. If you work with children and one of them wearing a tank top is “too much” for you, you shouldn’t be working with kids. 

There isn’t anything sexual about someone wearing a tank top, cami, crop top, baby tee, shorts, or skirts but we’re treated like it is and told to cover up.

We want the Belleview High school dress code to be revised!
