Roundabouts can cause confusion, especially in high-traffic or pedestrian-heavy areas, increasing the risk of accidents and congestion. This will also effects things like the annual Christmas Convoy, festivals, and many events in downtown Belgrade. The small businesses that are the heart of our small town depend on a safe area for foot/traffic and pedestrians. A stoplight offers controlled movement, improved safety for crossing pedestrians, and a more familiar system for residents and visitors alike. Let’s prioritize simplicity, safety, and what truly works for our community.
