I had a really great conversation with a wonderful councilman, and I wanted to share this with all of you.

We spoke about the steps currently being taken and what comes next in exploring how we can save the nursery land. There is real communication happening—and that matters.

I want to be honest: I cannot promise any specific outcome.

But I can say this — we are being heard, and we are being supported where it matters.

The pathways and information many of you have helped bring forward, I was able to share directly with him. He will continue assisting in every way possible to explore an outcome we would all truly love.

I know this petition includes ideas like a community park and even reimagining spaces like Kmart into something recreational for families. But at the heart of this effort is something bigger:

If we can save this land—and preserve it for future generations—that is a meaningful and lasting win.

Every signature, every share, every conversation you’ve had is helping push this forward. You are the reason these discussions are happening.

We are being heard.

We are opening doors.

And we are not done yet.
