To everyone who has signed, shared, and supported this effort — thank you.
I especially want to thank those who have helped move this petition forward by signing, sharing, and spreading the word. Every action, no matter how small it may seem, has helped bring us to this point.
I want to share an important update.
Because of your voices, this is no longer just a petition sitting online.
Local leadership is listening.
I have now been in contact with members of Paramus leadership, including a councilman and the mayor, who have both expressed a willingness to meet and have a real conversation about the future of this land.
In addition, conversations with county-level and open space resources have provided valuable insight into what options may exist — including preservation pathways that could be explored if the town chooses to pursue them.
This does not mean a decision has been made.
But it does mean something just as important:
We are being heard.
And that only happened because people came together and spoke up.
Every signature, every share, every conversation — it’s making an impact.
We are continuing to move forward, to learn, and to advocate for a thoughtful path that considers both our community’s future and what we stand to lose.
If you haven’t shared yet, now is the time.
Momentum matters — and right now, we have it.
Thank you for being part of this.
