Camp Woodmont is described as “a traditional, family-owned and operated summer camp” but recently, many are questioning that title.

Since 1981, Woodmont has been an inclusive and welcoming home for people of all backgrounds and experiences, however, the new owners have demonstrated through their decisions that inclusivity is no longer a priority.

The purpose of this petition is to prove that all those who call Woodmont home want this place to stick to its traditions. The traditions that have provided belonging for the past 43 years. We want to raise attention and encourage the owners to consider the opinions of our campers and staff.

Our main issue is the exclusion of males from this camp. So many male campers, counselors, and staff have created memories here, and we want to continue to provide a home in the years that come.
