QBCC DISQUALIFIES LOCAL BUILDER 

The QBCC have finally disqualified a local builder but not before they have affected the lives & homes of a string of homeowners across BRISBANE.  If you’re considering a build or renovating you need to be exceptionally careful as even though ‘due diligence’ was done through the QBCC website it did not stop more than 10 homeowners from being deceived & mislead by the builder.

Unfortunately all the homeowners still have to navigate the government system that has failed them & access their rights to claim under the Home Warranty Insurance, QCAT, Magistrates Court & other judicial avenues to reinstate their homes & lives.

It is also important to choose a engineer & certifier; be aware that some of the builders preferred entities might be not be as independent as they should be.

The Premier & Housing Minister couldn’t have cared & are happy to have your rights reduced & only interested in not going “beyond compliance for compliance sake”!  

The City of Moreton Bay council have been amazing & ensured that the right processes have been followed to ensure compliance with the Building Act.
