This month the NW Examiner's front page highlighted the change that will be happening. The shocking thing is the divergence within the Pearl District Neighborhood Association (PDNA). The President Stan Penkin is opposed to this, like most Pearl District Residents would be however the former committee co-chair who oversaw this building proposal Patricia Gardner said, "I’m not going to focus on larger issues but rather just see if we can make the building better." My question to her would be, isn't your role in the PDNA exactly to focus o the larger issues and to do what's best for the Pearl District?
