Brisbane City Council (BCC) is forcing Cooparoo's Doggy Day Care Brisbane (DDCB) on Jellicoe Road, Cooparoo due to noise complaints and zoning issues.

Kaz Kelly, DDCB's owner and dog owners across Brisbane are extremely shocked, surprised and frustrated at BCC's decision to force the closure of DDCB.

BCC has advised that DDCB should submit a development application, which wouldn't be successful in an attempt to save the business.

Dogs across South East Brisbane and surrounds deserve to have a place whilst their pawrents are at work and unable to care for them, that's where DDCB comes in.  Doggy Day Care is very similar to Childcare, but designed only for dogs to play, learn and make friends.  

DDCB is a vital and essential community asset and the community would be lost without this service.  BCC cannot close this important business.  Dogs deserve their home away from home.
