NDP PREMIER JOHN HORGAN, NDP MLA PAM ALEXIS, NDP MLA BOB D'EITH & NDP CAUCUS:

On October 13, 2020, during the provincial election campaign, NDP candidates Bob D'eith and Pam Alexis met on the front lawn of Mission Secondary school for a photo opportunity and press conference promising $87 Million Dollars for a replacement high school in Mission, IF elected.

We, the residents of Mission subsequently elected NDP MLA's Pam Alexis and Bob D'eith to represent us. Now, halfway through their term in office, we are asking for immediate follow-through on this NDP campaign promise.

Mission School Board Chair Tracy Loffler was interviewed on the Mike Smyth radio show today and stated that our ONLY high school Mission Senior Secondary school is "over-capacity", "unsafe", and "not conducive to a quality learning environment".

Mike Smyth Radio Show on Deferral of Mission Senior Secondary School Replacement

The children in our community, the community that the NDP was elected to represent, deserve better than what the current Mission Secondary School building has to offer. We implore you to require your government to keep this election promise. Deferral of any kind, or anything less than the promised complete replacement of MSS is patently inadequate.
