"Careful What You Wish For"

Fellow Route 6 Petitioners,  

That was Mr. Holman’s Campaign Slogan for the “NO" Camp in the failed Municipal Government Referendum 5 years ago. 

Respectfully, did any of the “YES" Voters wish for the current state of our Roads, Community Services and yes our Essential Ferry Service that has in a lot of respects simply been abandoned over the last 12 years?

In my opinion we’ve have lost 5 precious years for not coming together as Community to offer a solid Governance Model. The LCC is just another folly as a pseudo Municipal Governance Model. At great expense (disclosed avove) with limited powers. Funded by fellow ratepayers like you and I footing the bill. 

In this Fall Election perhaps it’s time to reflect on where we’ve come over the last 5 years and plan for where we’d like to be in another 4 years with some form of clarity. This applies to our Ferry Services as well and having the devoted support of our CRD Director. 

Is it "Time for Change”?
