Dear Concerned, this is to bring to your notice the dangerous amounts of toxic that is let into the air caused by burning dry leaves, garbage, etc by all and sundry. People who do this do not seem to be aware of the potential damage it may cause to the environment and the frequency with which it is being done is very alarming.

Empty lands, sites, garbage, plastic debris, dry leaves are all getting set on fire which is letting out smoke into the environment making breathing difficult and this is just one of the many hazards that we are faced with. I am sure if there was a picture being taken from a few 100s of feet above the ground, it could show a very grave picture of how unaware the citizens are when it comes to setting things or fire. 

There are fires that keep burning for more than a day or two causing so much of air pollution. Looking out of the window from high rise buildings shows smoke of various density billowing into the air. We must act before it is too late. We must learn lessons from the Air pollution in Delhi / NCR. I request the authorities concerned to please take immediate action on the same and ensure our city reflects what it is supposed to - Clean and Green !
