Stop BBC charging pensioners for TV license

Stop BBC charging pensioners for TV license
The Issue
The BBC have decided to start charging people over the age of 75 for the TV license.
Many of those within this generation are home bound. They may live alone. Their TV may be their only source of comfort.
The BBC are arguing it is the only way to avoid closing channels and making substantial cutbacks.
However, In 2018 the BBC made a worldwide profit of £210m. They also give huge pay outs to their regular presenters and stars: Match of the day start Garry Lineker earned £1.7 million last year whilst radio present Chris Evans earned a staggering £1.6 million.
My point is, the BBC is already a successful profit making organisation! Even so there are so many other ways that the BBC can make cut backs. Picking on the most vulnerable members within our society who have contributed so much to our nation is wrong!
Please sign this petition to stop the BBC charging our elderly for the TV License.
