Bayonne animal lovers and residents have for years, begged the Bayonne administration for our own animal shelter and rescue. This would include an animal shelter that would help curb the stray cat population.
Our neighboring town, Jersey City, has had animal services and a shelter for years. Why doesn’t Bayonne?

Recently, the city set aside $25,000 to spay and neuter stray cats but have made it very difficult for local residents to be able to do this. 

Bayonne taxpayers pay a premium in taxes. Bayonne is no longer  a small town. We are increasing in population and have many buildings under construction expecting even more Bayonne residents.

Please sign this petition to help convince the current Bayonne administration that there are many people here in Bayonne that want an animal shelter and rescue. This is a start.
