Gary Stevens was born in Barrow In Furnees and went on to play professional football for Everton,Glasgow Rangers and Tranmere Rovers.Gary made over 500 appearances and also received 46 England caps and won a number of league titles,cups and was also successful winning the European cup winners cup for Everton Football Club.

We want Barrow In Furness Council to recognise what Gary achieved and do something in his honor.The town has a Wille Horne and Emlym Hughes statues but there is nothing regarding Gary Stevens in Barrow.
