Parents Should Be Allowed to Watch Their Kids Graduate.

The Issue

As Parents, we deserve to watch out babies cross that stage as they receive their high school diploma. Our kids have worked hard over the past 13 years and we have been there helping them get to that moment successfully.

We have volunteered in their classrooms, helped with their homework and projects. We have volunteered for PTO, Sports Organizations, Arts and Education Programs, Boosters, Proms, etc....

We have been their biggest cheerleaders and have encouraged them to not give up when they faced difficult problems. We encouraged them to push their limits and discover what they are really cable of doing.

We have cheered them sitting in the heat, sweaty gyms, and the freezing cold for their sports and award ceremonies through the years. We should be able to cheer for them as they walk across the Stage in June 7th. These kids have already had their Senior year taken away. Do not take away the last bit of normal they have left in their senior year.

We ask that you allow us to watch our babies graduate. We watched them take their first steps into school, please let us cheer them on for their final steps.

if restaurants can have outside seating and people can do grocery shopping with more than 5 people in a store, then a distanced graduation outside where families can watch should not be an issue.
