From the new One Piece Odyssey to Digimon Survive and even the new Jojo game: All Star Battle R, what do all these games have in common....oh they aren't dubbed!

With there hands on so many beloved franchise it's a shame they don't bother putting in the work with anything that isn't Naruto or Dragon Ball name behind it.

Anime is getting more popular than ever now....yet Namco is still not treating these games/there North American fans the respect they deserve.

Sega will go out of it's way to find a new voice cast to dub a Fist of the North Star game, a series that has never been really big over here....yet Bandai can't be bothered to add dubs too all the franchises and series above for.....oh no reason.

Sega has stated they believe that doing stuff like dubbing and releasing these games closer to after they release in Japan is a successful strategy and with the recent success of the Yakuza franchise latest entry they are right.

It's becoming more lazy/cheap on Bandai part now that VIPO exists.

VIPO is a government organization that will help pay/subsidies art/works from Japan localization/promotions into other countries!

Phantasy Star Online 2 Localization​

Persona 5 Royal Localization

Sega used it to help pay for the localization of there big mmo game Phantasy Star Online 2 & pay for the dubbing of Persona 5 Royal! A game Sega knows has a big audience over here and will sell and they use this!

They used this to help fund the localization of a Dragon Ball game for Europe....A DRAGON BALL GAME THE BIGGEST ANIME OUTSIDE OF JAPN EVER!!!!

 

What there excuse to not use it to help dub these other anime games that at least for the case of Jojo & One Piece, we have the majority or all the actors for characters for those series already casted/still working on those series today....it's really just no excuse.
