Our extreme vape rates, a youth epidemic, NZ completely loaded with vape outlets with no health warnings anywhere*, government sitting on its hands, pretending to respond as it rakes in the money from its public, for whom it should be caring, consuming this addictive and toxic product, misled regarding its safety and with no government vape or nicotine quitting programmes, this is the sorry situation.

Childrens' airways are being damaged, their lives threatened, schools disrupted as this epidemic rages.

Responses to the letter below, published yesterday, and similar material put on social media show people are shocked when presented with the stats. The data had been under their radar, they hadn't seen young vapers themselves, and they thought the government was doing something.

The vape epidemic has been silent for many. 

NZ is under attack by its own government, mining, mostly naive, addicted 'bodies' for money. 

NZ must immediately join the great majority of countries who follow WHO advice to ban or tightly regulate vaping.  

Please spread the word amongst your networks, at the risk of repeating yourselves. It is interesting how it can take a few messages to sink in..
