Some who signed this petition, requesting pharmacy sales, would much prefer the more specific prescription-only protocol to be implemented. For them, at the bottom of this update is a link to a completely separate petition, started by another individual, and requesting that.

If free GP consultation were available for vape issues, as for various specific conditions where government reimbursement is made, one barrier to using this mode of accessing vapes would be removed. Many arguments can clearly be made both for OTC (over-the-counter sale without prescription) and for the prescription-only model. A previous update referred to relative black market risks. 

Requirements of keeping vapes from public view with minimal and plain advertising, and no online sales would be important adjuncts to the OTC model.

That which requires prescription may yet be seen to be preferable, in spite of the black market or other concerns.

For several reasons it seemed appropriate to facilitate expression of preference for those who want that more specific request. Hence the link to the other petition is provided here:
