WHO IS BEHIND IT?
Flock's most recent $275 million funding round included Founders Fund — Peter Thiel's venture capital firm. Thiel also co-founded Palantir Technologies, a surveillance company with hundreds of millions in federal government contracts.
On the record: In 2009, Thiel wrote: "I no longer believe freedom and democracy are compatible." He is now funding mass surveillance infrastructure in American schools.
THE EPSTEIN CONNECTION
DOJ documents released in 2026 show Epstein called Thiel a "great friend," with years of correspondence and financial ties documented long after Epstein's 2008 guilty plea for soliciting prostitution from a minor. Thiel has not been charged with any crime. That is not our point.
We are simply asking: Should someone with documented financial ties to a convicted child sex trafficker be investing in surveillance systems at schools? We believe Americans will see this for what it is — and stop it in its tracks.
WHY THIS ENDANGERS CHILDREN
When schools install Flock cameras, that data can be accessed by thousands of agencies nationwide — without warrants, without consent, without parents knowing. A child's daily routine becomes a permanent federal record. Schools must be safe havens, not surveillance hubs. 5. Full transparency from Flock Safety on all data-sharing agreements and monetization plans.
6. Legislative disclosure standards requiring companies with investors tied to convicted sex offenders to disclose those relationships before contracting with child-serving institutions.
