Ban unethical and negligent breeders. Save these poor dogs from being in her care.
The issue
Jessica Twining, a central coast breeder of French and British bulldogs, who operates under the name Lavish bulldogs, who has neglected a large number of dogs and puppies living on her property.
jessica had a total of 18 dogs living locked in a hot 2 car garage, in tiny metal pens, covered in their own faeces and urine for weeks on end, they had no access to food or water, no ventilation, no natural light, and no human care or interactions, puppies as young as just a few weeks old were left entirely on their own and without adequate care, some were apparently left unattended in an incubator, with no access to their mother.
Jessica had a large number of dogs removed and seized by the council and the RSPCA from her property due to the horrific living conditions, she made absolutely no effort to contact the RSPCA for several weeks upon the animals being removed, despite having full knowledge of the seizure taking place.
Jess was uncontactable for a number of weeks.
A number of puppies that Jess was caring for had also passed away in unexplained circumstances,
Jess has breached every code of conduct when it comes to being a responsible pet owner and a responsible breeder.
the RSPCA has since made the decision to return the surviving dogs back into Jessica’s care.
Jessica has not been charged with neglect, or animal cruelty, nor has a ban or restriction been put upon her to not own or breed animals, despite the extremely horrible conditions that she had these dogs and puppies living in.
There needs to be a stand up against this type of breeding, against people like this owning any type of animal, and against the overall gross negligence that has taken place in this woman’s care.
These dogs need to be immediately removed and placed in proper loving homes, so as to not make up the ever growing population of back yard breeding stock.
the RSPCA need to take proper action to protect these animals, to save them from a lifetime of further neglect and abuse.
Jessica’s license to breed needs to be immediately removed, and a lifetime ban against her needs to be put into place to prevent further animal cruelty, neglect, and abuse.
A SLAP ON THE WRIST IS SIMPLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
