All citizens should be alarmed by the rise of “meme coins” launched by U.S. officials - like Trump and Melania's recent cryptocurrencies, which raised tens of billions from unknown sources, including potentially Russia and China.

Cryptocurrency comes with inherent risks due to its lack of transparency. It creates opportunities for bribes from foreign governments and private entities, raising serious concerns about conflicts of interest and national security.

Regardless of personal opinions we must recognize the danger of a future where elected officials are essentially “FOR  SALE” on the open market through these unregulated financial tools.

We call on the U.S. Congress to take action. Specifically:

• Ban elected officials and their families from launching cryptocurrencies.
• Conduct an immediate, thorough investigation into all political donations from foreign entities made in digital currencies.
