As an Australian citizen, I have experienced firsthand the impact of glyphosate, on my own health and the health of my community. Tomato and wheat growers around us extensively use this harmful herbicide without any consideration for the health of people. It feels like we are being silently poisoned.

Glyphosate has been linked to numerous health issues, including cancer and liver disease. In fact, the International Agency for Research on Cancer has classified glyphosate as "probably carcinogenic to humans". Despite this, its use remains largely unregulated in Australia.

We believe our health should not be compromised for the convenience of fast agriculture. Chemical companies and agribusiness should not be allowed to prioritize their profits over the well-being of people and the environment. We need to ban the use of glyphosate on our soil in order to protect our health and the health of future generations.

We call on the Australian government to immediately ban the use of glyphosate in all farming and agricultural practices. We cannot sit idly by and watch our health deteriorate simply because of a lack of adequate regulation. Please sign this petition to protect our health and our home.
