My friend and I have lived in the beautiful wild area of Sedona, Arizona for a long time. Recently, she told me she is not hearing or seeing any of the usual wildlife that normally resides in our area. Even her pet dog almost lost its life due to ingesting this poison used to kill rodents. This deeply concerning situation leads me to speak out against the availability of these deadly poisons in our stores. These toxins, meant to control rodents, are non-selective and can permeate the food chain, killing various forms of wildlife, and even harming our beloved pets. According to the American Association of Poison Control Centers, thousands of pets fall victim to pesticides each year in the USA. We can no longer ignore the disastrous ripple effects these products are having on our ecosystems and our companion animals. Given these significant dangers to our wildlife, pets, and potentially our health, I urge you to support this petition to ban the sale of these toxic rodent poisons in Sedona, Arizona.
