As a resident of New Hampshire, I have witnessed the heartbreaking reality of small animals suffering due to glue traps. These traps are marketed as safe and humane, but in truth, they cause prolonged agony for creatures like mice who suffocate for days while still alive and crying out for help.

No animal should have to endure such torment. It's time we take a stand against this cruel practice. In our state alone, countless small animals fall victim to these traps every year. This is not only an issue of animal welfare but also one that affects our local ecosystem. Many states have regulations against these NH doesn’t. 

Glue traps are indiscriminate killers that can ensnare any small creature that comes into contact with them - from beneficial insects and birds to endangered species (Humane Society). They pose a significant threat not just to individual animals but also to house animals like cats and dogs

Moreover, according to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), glue boards are considered inhumane due to the prolonged distress and potential for physical harm they inflict on trapped animals.

We urge lawmakers in New Hampshire to ban the sale of small animal glue traps and promote more humane alternatives for pest control. By doing so, we can protect innocent lives from unnecessary suffering and preserve our state's rich biodiversity.
