Ban the sale of glue traps at Walmart

Ban the sale of glue traps at Walmart
The Issue
You probably know what a glue trap is unless you live under a rock, a glue trap is a cardboard or plastic slab covered in a sticky adhesive used for catching animals considered as "pests".
What the packages should really say is that these are evil torture devices that cause many animals to suffer for days. It's already cruel enough that these traps encourage people to torture and kill cute animals such as mice and rats. Two amazing animals that play a vital role in the ecosystem and even some religions, sadly these well known pocket puppies have been falsely rumored to be "dirty and disgusting". Let alone reports show rats have a perfume like scent when not forced to live in a dirty environment.
Plus people think these animals constantly bite and spread diseases, I can tell you right now, that is not true. I've handled multiple wild mice and the only time I was bit by one was when I was trying to get one with a broken leg out of a snap trap. Rodents only bite when they're in extreme danger.
However attempting to kill rodents actually puts a human at higher risk for diseases, as like said, attempting to handle a mouse in distress is how you get bit. Also mice stuck to glue traps or other lethal traps will make them release waste out of fear, plus these glue traps hold that bacteria in. The CDC even advises people to not use glue traps.
Plus these glue traps do not discriminate, not only are they harmful to rodents, they're also harmful to birds, reptiles, even companion animals. One woman's cat died after she got stuck in a glue trap and got an infection in the wound where the trap ripped off the cat's skin. Plus there are multiple reports of dogs being stuck in these traps.
There are way more humane ways that don't involve risking yourself, your companion animals, or any other innocent being to deter rodents from your home, such as used cat litter, peppermint, cloves, aluminum foil, keeping tidy, and sealing up all holes in your home the size of a dime or larger.
No one should use glue traps at all, so let's knock these sales down one by one. Starting with Walmart banning this form of animal abuse.
